Dr. Wang is the Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Energy Economics Institute of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), and a Fellow of the Energy Institute of the United Kingdom. He is a PhD in Finance from Guanghua School of Management, Peking University, a Fulbright Visiting Research Scholar, and the chief expert for the major research projects in philosophy and social sciences of the Ministry of Education. He is also a professor and doctoral supervisor of China University of Petroleum (Beijing), and had served as the Deputy Director of the Policy Research Office of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), Chief Expert of the national high-end think tank of CNPC Economics & Technology Research Institute, Dean of the School of Business Administration of China University of Petroleum (Beijing) and Executive Vice President of the Academy of Chinese Energy Strategy. Currently, Mr. Wang also holds academic positions such as Council Member of the China Center for International Economic Exchanges and Deputy Director of the Energy Economics Committee of the China Energy Research Society. He has published more than 150 academic papers in top academic journals at home and abroad, such as Energy, Management World, Journal of Financial Research, and World Economics and Politics, and more than 40 articles in mainstream domestic media, such as People's Daily and Economic Daily. He has been awarded the first prize for outstanding achievements in soft science by the National Energy Administration, the second prize for philosophy and social sciences in Beijing, the excellent paper award of the 9th Annual Global Finance Conference, and the excellent doctoral thesis of Peking University. His areas of research include energy economics and green finance.
中国海油集团能源经济研究院党委书记、院长，英国能源学会会士。北京大学光华管理学院金融学博士、美国富布赖特访问研究学者、教育部哲学社会科学研究重大课题攻关项目首席专家，兼任中国石油大学（北京）教授、博士生导师，曾担任中国石油天然气集团有限公司政策研究室副主任、中国石油经济技术研究院国家高端智库首席专家，中国石油大学（北京）工商管理学院院长、中国能源战略研究院常务副院长。目前还兼任中国国际经济交流中心理事、中国能源研究会能源经济专业委员会副主任等学术职务。《Energy》《管理世界》《金融研究》《世界经济与政治》等国内外一流学术期刊发表学术论文150多篇，并在《人民日报》、《经济日报》等国内主流媒体发表文章40多篇，曾获国家能源局软科学优秀成果一等奖、北京市哲学社会科学二等奖、第九届全球金融学年会优秀论文、北京大学优秀博士学位论文等奖励。研究领域为能源经济、绿色金融等。
