Ms. Ding has long been engaged in the research of energy strategy, policies, regulations, reforms and major energy issues; has organized the legislative research and drafting of the Energy Law, Renewable Energy Law, Oil and Gas Pipeline Protection Law, Petroleum Reserve Regulations, Nuclear Power Regulations of the People's Republic of China, and the revision of the Electricity Law and the Coal Law of the People's Republic of China; has organized and participated in a number of research topics in the upstream, midstream and downstream of the oil and gas industry and reform of the oil and gas industry; has a comprehensive understanding of energy. Has won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, and has been awarded the first, second and third prizes in soft science by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and National Energy Administration (NEA) for many times. 现任中国投资协会能源投资专业委员会副会长，北京理工大学、对外经贸大学、中国石油大学、中国民族大学、国合耶鲁等多所大学的兼职教授。长期从事能源战略、政策、法规、改革和能源重大问题的研究工作。先后组织我国《能源法》《可再生能源法》《石油天然气管道保护法》《石油储备条例》《核电条例》的立法研究及起草工作和《电力法》《煤炭法》的修改工作。组织并参与油气行业上中下游多项课题研究及油气行业改革工作。对能源有较全面了解。等获国家科技进步二等奖，获国家发改委、国家能源局软科学一、二、三等奖多次。
