He is responsible for the investment banking business of China's oil and gas, chemicals and mining companies. He has kept a close relationship with large state owned enterprises such as PetroChina, Sinopec and Sinochem, as well as leading private enterprises such as Hengli, Hengyi and Wanhua. Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Yang served as managing director of the Northeast Asia Oil and Gas/Chemical Group of Standard Chartered Bank (2014-2015), worked in the Asia global market group and China oil and gas vertical market research group of Citigroup Hong Kong Office (2009-2014), he was also the head of China chemical / petroleum downstream research group of Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong Office (2005-2009), and served in the business development department of DuPont China Beijing Office (2002-2005).
