Jack Higginson provides support to S&P Global Upstream services, providing workflow support and training to enable users to more effectively use and integrate S&P data. Working mostly (but not limited to) users within the EMEA region, Jack Higginson provides expertise in both the upstream platforms (EDIN, Vantage and Upstream Intelligence) and the API functionality to create and design dashboards in BI tools utilising S&P Global data.

Jack works with companies to provide bespoke training programs for users based around their roles and the data they work with most often and to boost their knowledge and proficiency with the platforms and datasets. Some recent sessions include company strategy assessments, basin evaluation, exploration and development scenarios and trends, asset evaluation and the transition to low CO2.

Jack holds a BSc in Geology and MSc in Petroleum Geology and over 12 years-experience working in upstream oil and gas. Previous roles have included geoscientist at CGG, which has provided a strong knowledge in well data management and data types, including the use of heritage data, scouting information and basin evaluation.
