Francis Land
Director, Research Manager, S&P Global
Francis Land directs the S&P Global suite of Investment Research Evaluation solutions for asset managers and brokers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
He has more than 23 years of experience in the financial services
industry and has focused on commission management and research
procurement services for the last 15 years. Mr. Land joined IHS
Markit in October 2016 and has responsibilities covering product
development, strategy, sales and marketing with a particular focus
on EMEA. He is a regular speaker on trends in research procurement
at conferences and events. Prior to S&P Global, he worked for
Westminster Research Associates, a specialist CSA broker. Before
that, he worked at The Bank of New York (now BNY Mellon) in a
variety of roles within their depositary receipts and global
custody divisions. Mr. Land holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics
and government from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom.
