Nishant leads the News and Insight efforts for S&P Global's AftermarketInsight service. His research interests lie in analyzing significant technology changes taking place in the auto industry and the aftermarket, including e-mobility, access to data, digitalization, fleet average age and vehicle miles traveled. His responsibilities include conveying the implications of the sector's key events to customers as quickly and succinctly as possible as well as conducting data-driven analysis that can be used for product planning and category management.

He brings with him a decade of automotive experience including several years in automotive journalism, research and communication. Immediately prior to joining S&P Global, he helped a management consultancy devise a go-to-market strategy for a global luxury performance car brand. This followed several years as News Editor of India's largest automotive publication, Autocar India, covering the product, regulations, business and OEM strategy aspects of the auto industry as well a stint reporting on the capital markets for a real-time financial newswire.

Nishant has done his post-graduation in journalism from Xavier Institute of Communications, India and holds a bachelor's degree in commerce and business from Mumbai University, India.
