Rita has global market research and Asia financial capital market experiences across integrated oil, gas distribution, refinery, chemical, and specialty chemical industries.

In her current role she leads Global Renewables and Nutrition Research with a focus on the bio-based product value chain, ranging from natural fats and oils, biofuels, oleochemicals, as well as food, nutraceutical and animal nutrition ingredients. She talks to the industry, aligns data and analysis from a global perspective, and communicates the key findings to global top industrial players.

Before joining S&P Global Commodity Insights based in California in 2014, Rita worked as an equity research sellside analyst at Asia-ex Japan Energy Research team with Barclays Capital Investment Bank based in Hong Kong. She was responsible for analyzing major refineries and chemical companies in Asia and providing investment recommendations to institutional investors.

Rita has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Enterprise Management.
