With 18+ years of experience in the management consulting practice for the energy industry, Rodrigo helped on business development for S&P Global Commodity Insights Upstream strategy consulting business for the oil & gas sector for 9 years before moving to Upstream Insight Research group with a commercial focus. He has extensive knowledge of the upstream value chain with experience in market intelligence, market entry strategy, oil & gas supply/demand studies, regulatory insight, portfolio optimization, E&P Licensing round and data room support, asset valuation, performance benchmarking, process modeling, and other above-ground issues for countries in the region. Previously, Rodrigo was a manager at Accenture Management Consulting responsible for business development and project delivery in the oil & gas practice. Prior to Accenture, he worked on the Brazilian Nuclear Quality Institute, responsible for consulting projects and quality auditing at Brazilian nuclear energy companies.

Educated in Brazil, Rodrigo holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the PUC University Rio de Janeiro, an MBA in Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas University and a Post-Graduation Energy Industry Economics from COPPEAD Graduate School of Business, UFRJ. His background also includes international certifications from PMI and APICS institutes.
