Kristen's team is responsible for developing and delivering
actionable solutions to the problems that matter most to the
automotive industry. By connecting the dots between market leading
data and forecasts, her team brings custom analytics and a sense of
curiosity to drive critical decisions relating to electrification,
charging, technology platforms, retail, consumer and market
strategic planning. Her passion for her client's business brings
innovation and provocative thought leadership to the decision
makers creating change.Kristen hosts a monthly podcast, Fuel for Thought, with guest
experts on todays most critical topics. She has also been on panels
and presented on topics such as retail transformation, the economic
impact of COVID, the changing product landscape and industry
loyalty. She brings over 20 years of experience in roles across
consulting, sales, purchasing, logistics and program management.
She has served the automotive, commercial vehicle, retail and
professional services industries.Prior to her tenure with S&P Global, Kristen served as
Business Unit Director at Air International (a Global Tier 1 HVAC
& PTC automotive supplier) where she led a global cross
functional team responsible for several major global OEM programs.
Over her time with the company she also served as Director of
Program Management, Program Manager - GM Business and leadership
roles in purchasing. Kristen has also held roles pertaining to
planning and logistics within the automotive and retail industries.
She has led and worked closely with teams, suppliers and customers
around the world.Kristen earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree
from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and a Bachelor of
Arts (BA) degree in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State
University in East Lansing, Michigan.
Anoop Desai serves as the Executive Director and Head of
Sustainable Mobility at S&P Global Mobility Consulting
Services. In this leadership role, he specializes in spearheading
sustainability initiatives within the mobility sector. Boasting a
robust background in carbon accounting, net-zero pathways, and
strategic planning, Anoop stands at the forefront of the drive
towards sustainable practices. His pivotal role involves guiding
clients through the intricate process of reducing their carbon
footprint and crafting effective strategies to attain net-zero
emissions. Anoop's expertise in sustainability frameworks, coupled
with his adept analysis and interpretation of data, positions him
as an invaluable asset to the team. His unwavering dedication to
promoting environmentally responsible practices aligns seamlessly
with his commitment to steering clients towards sustainable
mobility solutions. Anoop's passion for sustainability and his
proactive efforts contribute significantly to the mission of
creating a greener and more sustainable future, solidifying his
role as a key contributor within the S&P Global Mobility
team.
Mark is responsible for working with customers and sales
colleagues to develop and grow the commercial product portfolio at
S&P Global. Mark joined S&P Global with nearly 10 years of
diverse experience in the automotive industry, working across the
supply chain.His background includes pricing strategy experience with car
sharing startups, as well as forecasting and demand planning for
light and heavy duty automotive suppliers. Most recently, Mark was
part of the aftermarket division at ZF (formerly WABCO) in product
management for their air dryer management systems.He is based in Detroit and has a Bachelor of Business
Administration degree from Davenport University and a Master of
Science degree in Business Intelligence and Analytics from St.
Joseph's University.
Tanja Linken is responsible for consulting automotive OEMs in
defining optimal retail networks, maximizing sales performance and
service retention, and effectively managing dealerships. Her
experience of 50+ dealer network optimization projects comprises
mature and emerging markets likewise. She contributes to the
development of proprietary spatial models, including S&P
Global's award-winning "New Retail" methodology which combines
geo-marketing techniques and data assets from both automotive and
non-automotive fields in a unique, innovative way, allowing an
omni-channel planning approach that includes online and offline
customer touchpoints and diversified retail formats. Over the past
15 years Tanja has held several analytical and advisory positions,
with a focus on geomarketing and retail planning. Prior to joining
the automotive industry, she gained her professional experience
with urban planning agencies. Tanja graduated with a Diploma degree
in Applied Geography from Bochum University, Germany.
James is an Director in the S&P Global Mobility Automotive
Advisory Practice based in Detroit. He joined S&P Global in
2018 following a long and diverse career at General Motors.James areas of expertise include identification of new
propulsion system technologies and trends, forecasting the expected
efficacy of the new technologies, and how those technologies might
manifest in the development of engine, transmission, hybrid, and
electric vehicle products and strategies for key automotive
