Russell manages and coordinates projects and works closely with
OEMs, Importers and Dealers, including scoping/ pre-sales,
analysis, reporting and delivery of solutions.He holds a Masters in Geographic Information Technology from
Northeastern University, a Bachelor's degree from Victoria
University (NZ), and has 20 years experience in the automotive
sector covering primarily Retail Network planning, but also in
forecasting, pricing & specifications and registration/parc
data solutions.
Tanja Linken is responsible for consulting automotive OEMs in
defining optimal retail networks, maximizing sales performance and
service retention, and effectively managing dealerships. Her
experience of 50+ dealer network optimization projects comprises
mature and emerging markets likewise. She contributes to the
development of proprietary spatial models, including S&P
Global's award-winning "New Retail" methodology which combines
geo-marketing techniques and data assets from both automotive and
non-automotive fields in a unique, innovative way, allowing an
omni-channel planning approach that includes online and offline
customer touchpoints and diversified retail formats. Over the past
15 years Tanja has held several analytical and advisory positions,
with a focus on geomarketing and retail planning. Prior to joining
the automotive industry, she gained her professional experience
with urban planning agencies. Tanja graduated with a Diploma degree
in Applied Geography from Bochum University, Germany.
Chris has been a part of the company for eight years. In his
previous role, Chris led a team of onsite consultants at one of the
Detroit 3 who oversaw US and Canada Retail Network Development,
created quarterly sales and multicultural reports that dealers use
to look at performance, and was a leading hand in creating the
brands 10-year network plan. In his most recent role, Chris has
worked with mature brands and disruptor brands in developing their
ideal Network Strategy and oversees Retail Strategy.Chris was educated at Eastern Michigan University, gaining a
bachelor's degree in Geography with a minor in Geographic
Information Sciences.
Treffen provides consulting support for automotive OEMs,
national sales companies, and dealer groups in defining and
executing Retail Performance strategies. Focus areas include Retail
Performance, Network Planning, Market Analysis, Custom Forecasting,
and Future Retail. His 20+ years of automotive experience include
leading Network Development, Retail Experience, and Strategic
Planning functions for Audi of America.Treffen holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of
International Policy both from the University of Michigan-Ann
Arbor.
Ian McIlravey first joined S&P Global in 2015 as a
consultant and has worked on network planning and service-bay
capacity planning projects in North America and Europe for a wide
array of brands. Most recently, Ian has conducted national market
studies in Canada to predict and plan for the impact of
electrification and online sales on the dealer network.
